Experience the golden age of jazz with a special screening of the celebrated documentary Jazz on a Summer’s Day. Filmed at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival, the film captures unforgettable performances by Louis Armstrong, Anita O’Day, Thelonious Monk, and Mahalia Jackson.

The evening begins with a conversation introducing the era and the artists featured in the film with special guest Tony Guerrero, acclaimed jazz trumpeter and educator, followed by the screening.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the program beginning at 7:30 PM. Guests are invited to
arrive early and enjoy a casual reception before the film. Drinks will include wine, beer, and bubbles.

Hosted by the Music History Hall Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and celebrating American music history.

Main floor theater seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional seating will be in the mezzanine or you can find standing room on the main floor.
No outside food or beverages are permitted.
